• Say thank you and say it often.
• Mention volunteers in your newsletter.
• Annual recognition events, such as an awards ceremony or dinner.
• Send cards of thanks or gift certificates for a burger, coffee, or ice cream.
• Have a volunteer wall of fame – post pictures of your volunteers in action.
• Positive feedback- a job well done! Don’t focus on the negative.
