CREDA is partnering with the Electronic Commerce Centre at the University of New Brunswick-Saint John and Nova Scotia Business Inc. to present an e-marketing workshop being held in Amherst on Tuesday, April 1st. The one-day, hands-on interactive workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Tantramar Theatre, 98 Victoria Street.

The workshop is designed for business owners with an existing website who would like to maximize their exposure and sales through internet marketing. Designed for companies of all sizes with an easy step-by-step approach to Internet Marketing, this workshop will expose participants to the tools of today’s e-marketers. Participants will learn about search engine advertising and optimization, social media optimization, display advertising, e-mail advertising, and website analytics.

The workshop will be facilitated by Louis-Philippe Gauthier, President and CEO of BMG Consultants Inc. of Moncton, which is a full service e-Business, e-Publishing and Internet systems development firm. Mr. Gauthier’s knowledge of the Internet as a business, communication and marketing medium is strengthened by many years of practical experience. He is known to many Cumberland County business owners, having conducted a very successful and highly rated E-Commerce Workshop in Parrsboro last year. A complete speaker’s profile can be viewed on CREDA’s website www.creda.net.

Cost for the workshop is $100 per participant with lunch provided. As a bonus, participants will have the opportunity to continue to hone their skills in a half-hour free consultation with an Internet Marketing expert, which can be booked following the workshop. To register or for additional information, please contact CREDA at (902) 667-3638. The deadline for registration and payment is Tuesday, March 18.
