The Cumberland County School Food Project is an initiative designed to increase and sustain partner ship activities with the agricultural community for the dual purpose of promoting healthy eating and lifestyles thereby contributing to the overall quality of life.

 

 

Our Mission

To have healthy eating and general lifestyle promoted within Nova Scotia schools utilizing locally produced/manufactured/grown foods for the overall intention of disease prevention, thus laying a foundation for healthier communities.  The vision is intended to have a positive dual impact offering results in community community health and economic development.
